Coffee quality is measured on a 100-point scale by certified experts called Q-Graders. You can think of them as the sommeliers of coffee, and Folk was founded by one.
Only a small percentage of coffees ever score above 86, the threshold of true specialty. At that level, they’re naturally rare — often just a few thousand bags in the world.
You’re tasting something few others ever will. And that’s what makes every cup more meaningful.

When will my order arrive?
We ship orders quickly, and you'll get a tracking email as soon as your box is on its way. Delivery time depends on where you are, but we'll keep you posted.
Do you ship whole-bean or ground?
All coffees ship whole-bean in vacuum sealed bags for peak freshness.
How do I sign up for a subscription?
Head to our Join the Club page and choose your plan—monthly, 3-month prepaid, or 12-month prepaid. Your first box ships within 2-4 days.
Can I buy just one bag to try before subscribing?
Yes. You can purchase individual coffees or a one-time Volume (two coffees) without subscribing. Once you taste what we're about, we think you'll want to stick around.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states. International shipping isn't available yet, but we're working on it.
Where are your products made?
Folk coffees are imported from farms all over the world, through direct relationships with farmers are much as possible. These coffees are then roasted and packaged in Franklin, TN.
What's a Q-Grader?
Think of them as sommeliers for coffee. Q-Graders are certified experts who taste and score coffee based on strict standards. Only coffees scoring 86+ make it into Folk. They’re rare, exceptional, worth savoring.
